At Didova Hatchyna, we’ve embraced a simple and minimalistic design philosophy that doesn’t vie for attention with the breathtaking beauty of nature. We’ve chosen a subdued palette that refrains from competing with the vibrant hues of the natural world. Every corner of this place has been meticulously crafted to provide you with an opportunity to rest your eyes, relax, and forge a deeper connection with the surrounding environment while paying it the utmost respect.
Our approach designing this space was to watch and learn from the local architecture while still incorporating contemporary minimalism.
The hotel is designed to reflect the traditional architecture of the region with modern approach.
By combining traditional elements with modern minimalism, the hotel provides guests with a one-of-a-kind experience that is both comfortable and authentic.
The hotel was designed by a collaboration between Pevna Studio and Architytyk who drew inspiration from the authentic clients who filled them with love for the project. The first sketch of the hotel was made during a mountain trip with tents, where the team sat around a fire, sang songs to the guitar, and absorbed the majestic night sky full of stars, breathing fresh air and trying to feel the place.
By combining traditional elements with modern minimalism, the hotel provides guests with a one-of-a-kind experience that is both comfortable and authentic.
The interplay of modern plywood panels, traditional market chests, and natural hemp bedding creates an inviting atmosphere that captures the essence of Didova Hatchyna. This thoughtful integration of elements from different eras and the inclusion of hemp bedding exemplifies our dedication to offering a timeless retreat where the past meets the present in perfect harmony, all while ensuring our guests enjoy the comforts of modern design.
